Ever-power — Product Range

NMRV & NRV Worm Gearbox Series

Factory direct aluminium and cast-iron worm gear reducers. Speed ratios 5:1 to 100:1, centre distances 25 mm to 150 mm, four input-output configurations to suit any drive layout.

CE Certified ISO 9001 RoHS Compliant IEC Motor Compatible

Complete Worm Gear Reducer Range — Four Configurations

Ever-power manufactures the full NMRV and NRV worm gearbox family in a single facility, giving you consistent dimensional accuracy and interchangeable components across every frame size. All units conform to IEC motor mounting standards and are supplied with synthetic lubricant pre-filled, ready for immediate installation.

The four series — NMRV, NRV, NMRV-E, and NRV-E — share identical housing geometry but differ in how the input shaft is connected and whether a worm-direction tail output is fitted. This modularity lets engineers standardise on a single reducer family across multiple machine designs. Standard Series

NMRV — Bore Input with Input Flange

The NMRV series is the industry-standard right-angle worm gear reducer. Die-cast aluminium housing (NMRV025–090) and grey cast iron (NMRV110–150) with a hollow bore input shaft and IEC B14 / B5 motor flange. The most widely specified configuration for packaging lines, food processing conveyors, and general industrial automation. All sizes accept the full reduction ratio range and are available with food-grade lubricant, Viton oil seals, and reinforced output shaft options.

Shaft Input Series

NRV — Shaft Input without Input Flange

The NRV series shares the NMRV housing but replaces the hollow bore and IEC flange with a solid input shaft arrangement. This configuration is preferred where the drive motor connects via a belt, chain, coupling, or gearhead rather than direct IEC flanging. Identical output dimensions to the NMRV make retrofitting straightforward. Available across the full centre-distance range with the same ratio and mounting options as the standard NMRV series.

Bore Input + Tail Shaft

NMRV-E — Bore Input with Flange & Worm-Direction Tail Shaft

The NMRV-E extends the standard NMRV by adding a coaxial tail output shaft protruding in the worm-shaft direction. This allows the gearbox to simultaneously drive two separate loads from a single motor, or to integrate with a secondary encoder, brake, or auxiliary drive component. The IEC input flange is retained, and the primary output shaft geometry is unchanged. Ideal for tandem conveyor drives, dual-zone mixing systems, and applications requiring position feedback without an additional coupling.

NRV-E — Shaft Input without Flange & Worm-Direction Tail Shaft

The NRV-E combines the flange-free shaft input of the NRV with the additional tail output shaft of the E configuration. This is the most flexible configuration in the range, accommodating belt or chain input drives on one end while providing a primary right-angle output and a worm-direction tail output simultaneously. Used extensively in material handling systems, multi-zone drives, and installations where a conventional IEC motor flange is not practical due to space or alignment constraints.
